Silverpool looked up when she heard Crowflight's voice. She skidded to a hault and turned around to face him. She needed to get away from her clanmates, but it couldn't hurt to talk to Crowflight one last time... could it?

Crowflight scrambled into a halt, nearly running into Silverpool. He backed away a couple steps. He stared at her with a painful gaze.
"I....D-Do you...." He couldn't bring himself to say it. He couldn't accept the truth. It broke his heart to even think of it! But he needed to know...
"Do you...you really love Amberflame?"

She didn't even flinch as he almost ran into her. She stared him right in the eyes and answered his question firmly,"Yes, I do." She shook her head and then turned her back on him. She flicked her tail and then walked forward, wondering why he would stop her for a question like that.

His heart wrenched painfully as Crowflight winced as Silverpool affirmed it. But he had a feeling that she was in pain...in pain since Amberflame was about to die. And it was because of him. Crowflight dashed after the she-cat and stopped right in front of her.
"Are you....really exiled? Because of Amberflame?" The tom whispered.

The silver she-cat stopped when Crowflight stopped in front of her. His question brought the look of pain to her eyes bt it went away quickly as she spoke. "Yes I am exiled... I guess it is because of Amberflame a little bit, but I stood up for him when he should have been killed. So it was my choice and I haven't regretted it since."

Crowflight stared at her with smoldering eyes. He swallowed thickly, his throat dry. His head throbbed in pain but nothing more so than his heart that felt instantly shattered.
"But why?! Why does it have to be him?!" he yowled.
'Why can't it be me?' Crowflight gritted his teeth.
"What does he have that I don't?!"
[This whole thing (without the exile) kinda reminds me of Squirrelflight, Ashfur, and Brambleclaw xDD]

Silverpool froze. In those words that he said, she knew that he was telling her that he loved her. She stared at him and said,"Crowflight... he was meant for me... besides you can do better than choosing me for the one that you love. It doesn't even matter anymore because Amberflame is going to die and I am exiled so either way I won't have a mate."

Crowflight stopped and stared at her. His heart thumped as the tom grimaced. Were they really made for each other? Couldn't he and Silverpool...no. But more so than him being hurt, the tom couldn't bear to see the she-cat like this. He knew now...he had no chance nor future with her. It would be better for her to be happy...that was all that could count.
Without another word to Silverpool, Crowflight sped away to Amberflame. Even if his heart was broken into so many pieces, he wouldn't let Silverpool go through the same. Seeing the exiled cat lying on the ground, the tom nudged him gently.
"Hey! Come on! Pull yourself together!" Crowflight urged him.

Silverpool watched the tome speed away and then turned and walked the opposite direction. She was headed straight to the border of Silentclan and the unknown...

"What are you doing here?" growled Amberflame, struggling to get up. "You're supposed to be back at the camp, laughing a celebrating with the others that I'm gone." Amberflame sniffed. He snarled. "What have you done to Silverpool?" He sped off after Silverpool, amazingly fast even with his injuries, and left Crowflight feeling worse than ever.

She reached the end of the territory and stopped to wait for Amberflame. She hoped he would make it to her. She sat down and wrapped her tail neatly around her paws.

Amberflame burst between two bushes and saw Silverpool lying there. "What did he do to you?" he asked. "What did Crowflight do to you? That little--"

Silverpool looked up at Amberflame as he entered. She stiffened as he talked and finally cut him off. "Don't call him any thing! He didn't do any thing to me we just talked a little. That's all." She said.

"Oh. Well..." Amberflame didn't know what to say; he just wanted to sleep. He also wanted to get away as quick as he could.

"Come on. We need to get out of the territory and as far away as we can. If we don't they will find and kill us..." She said and got up, leading the way away from Silentclan and away from their old lives and into their new ones.
