Pebblesteam stiffened and a growl came up her throat. "This isn't over Amberflame. Come on Thornfire." She said and then turned and stalked through the bushes, head and tail raised high.

Amberflame watched Pebblestream go away with Thornfire.
"Ok. Come out now."
A very grubby Hollystar padded out of the bushes. She was carryig a very thin stick in her jaws, attached to the dead adder. The other cats didn't want to get too close, so deltails didn't matter. She spat the stick out.
"I'm never saving your fur again, Amberflame," she hissed, challenging the snake's evil hiss with her own.

Silverpool shook her head at Amberflame, smiled respectfully at Hollystar and then turned and walked through the bushes and away from her old life again...

"Silverpool!" Amberflame shouted, dragging the she-cat back.
"Silverpool," he repeated. "We...we should start a new Clan! One where everyone is respected!"

The breath was taken out of Silverpool's body as he dragged her back. She laid on her back and looked up at him. Her eyes brightened a bit and she jumped up. "That's a wonderful idea! We could call it... Fireclan... or... or... Flameclan! And you could be leader... if you want... and... and..." She hadn't realized that she had been jumping and running with excitement until she stopped and was breathing hard. Her eyes shone with excitement and all of the life was back in her.

Amberflame's eyes shone with excitement. "Yes!" Then he looked at Hollystar, who was narrowing her eyes.
"Amberflame," Hollystar growled. "I didn't save your life for this." She turned and blundered blindly through the bushes.

Silverpool shrugged off Hollystar and then said,"Come on! We have to find a territory... and a camp... and we have to make the dens..." Her voice trailed away as she got farther and farther away from Amberflame, but she didn't have anymore to say because that was really all they needed to do...

"Oh... right." she said smiling and then she waited for him to lead the way to find the new members. She didn't know where they would get the members, but they would get them and they would start a new spring.
